The Director of Arena Event Marketing will develop, create and execute strategic ticket sales plans for concerts, attractions and family shows booked at Intuit Dome. You will also lead the marketing efforts across all channels in and out of venue and is responsible for all aspects of Intuit Dome’s marketing campaigns. The Director will also work with industry colleagues including promoters, record labels, agents, radio stations, artist managers, etc to develop and manage opportunities relating to shows and events playing at the Intuit Dome.
This is a full-time role based out of our DTLA office and is eligible for our competitive benefit offerings including health insurance, Wellbeing Allowance and 401(k) with company contribution.

What You Will Do
- Develop robust Marketing Plans & breakthrough communication designed to generate show awareness & deliver on revenue targets
- Responsible for the development, activation and execution of artist-related marketing at the venue (including night of show décor and activations for fans and the artists)
- Partnering with the Director of Growth marketing, oversee social platforms & performance marketing strategy to deliver a strong strategy, ensure a clear tone of voice and deliver on key performance metrics
- Bring creative and disruptive ideas forward, and build capability and strategic partnerships that will benefit the organization long-term.
- Proactively review performance to proactively identify course corrections and/or new opportunities
- Effectively manage A&M budget & demonstrate strong agency leadership
- Manage relationship and agreements with key agencies & vendors as well as work alongside comms team and PR firm to ensure media needs are fulfilled
- Create & develop promotional opportunities with outside partners like radio, TV, digital, print, etc
- Manage, motivate, coach and develop direct reports
- Special projects and other work as assigned
Your Background, Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience Entertainment Event Marketing experience
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated people leadership experience and strong experience coaching & mentoring talent
- Established marketing contacts within live music and the entertainment industry including established artists, management agencies, tour promoters, media contacts, etc
- Consistent track record to uncover Premier insights/foresights informed equally by robust data analytics and marketplace “curiosity”
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of development
- Proven ability to lead agency relationships to achieve gold standard results
- Ability to anticipate issues and resolve them based on sound business judgement
- Expertise in developing and managing marketing campaigns for local venues and national tours.
- Exceptional capabilities in the integrated planning of social media, partnerships, promotions, loyalty programs, sponsorships, direct marketing and guerilla marketing.
- Flexible work schedule including nights and weekends.
Compensation
- $120,000 - $150,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
