Role Summary
SailGP is looking for an experienced, self-motivated designer who will join a cross-functional team to drive US growth. The successful candidate will have significant experience in design/branding across commercial/sales enablement, events, marketing and communication. Experience within the sports sector or similar related areas would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have solid and demonstrable experience of delivering graphic projects from concept to implementation, across various applications. A working proficiency in a range of design applications, primarily the Adobe Creative Suite is essential and presentation software such as Keynote.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design original, high quality marketing collateral across digital, social, print, OOH and other channels as needed in collaboration with marketing team
- Concept and build custom creative for sales pitches and partner presentations in partnership with commercial team
- Bring partnerships to life in pitch documents, using photoshop mockups and renders
- Create data visualizations from audience, financial and other types of information
- Collaborate with our partners and global team to create joint campaigns and ensure correct use of our brand
- Serve as a brand ambassador to ensure consistency of design and brand application across all channels and touch points, as directed by the global team
- Manage requests from a range of stakeholders; establish priorities and deadlines, manage expectations, and respond in a prompt manner
- Work effectively with the Creative team, the wider Marketing Department and other colleagues in order to effectively manage the delivery of projects, including prioritization of workflow and project management
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design or a related discipline
- Significant experience in the industry, sports/entertainment sector is preferred
- Experience in graphic layout & design with an understanding of ‘good’ file structure
- Adept at design and delivery across multiple mediums with an understanding of social campaigns and digital design
- Solid experience in concept presentation with working proficiency in Keynote
- Copywriting experience within the framework of global messaging matrix
- Significant knowledge and working proficiency with various design applications, namely Adobe Creative suite
- Experience of working at pace, on simultaneous projects meeting multiple deadlines
