As the Assistant Director of Sports Partnerships – NFL, you will lead a dynamic, growing marketing team and will execute strategic programs across the US in the exciting new industry that is sports betting.

The ideal candidate will have team and NFL industry experience with a professional demeanor, with the ability to manage high profile team sponsors while focusing on strategic implementations for optimizing partnerships. This role requires an ambitious sports sales marketer within sports team and league experience, strong project management and relationship skills. This role must be able to communicate clearly to executives at all levels (both internally and externally). This individual will be detail oriented and able to manage various tasks and meet demanding deadlines. The ability to take initiative and ownership of business accounts and projects, recommending solutions, and making informed decisions is a must.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the strategy and execution around NCAA and NFL  partnerships
  • Manage relationship and all work streams sports partnership both cross departmentally and externally
  • Project manage partnership, media, and creative agencies to execute all work streams.
  • Develop KPIs and measure results against them for individual sponsorships, league sponsorships and individual campaigns
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver best in class programs that deliver on company goals: Growth, Retail, Creative, and Media.
  • Regularly analyze the competition and other best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions
  • Develop recaps and post-mortems to discuss and distill takeaways that can be distributed for future learnings
  • Stay abreast of current trends and become a category expert across key accounts with knowledge of competitor intelligence
  • Develop a deep understanding and knowledge of business goals and objectives, and align annual activation campaigns against achieving these goals
  • Maximize all deliverables of sponsorship contracts, including TV and radio media, digital assets, print advertising, stadium signage, special events, hospitality, and in-game promotions
  • Contribute to deal negotiations and provide insight on key learnings from current partners that would influence future partnerships
  • Translate national promotions, activations and creative to the local club/team level
  • Work closely with digital VIP team to ensure best in class experiences that only Caesars can provide – such as unforgettable sports moments, hospitality packages and events
  • Project manage the design and construction of all premium branded hospitality spaces working with cross departmentally and with external stakeholders.
  • Understand the tentpole moments in football to activate around. NCAA AND NFL
  • Identify opportunities to scale acquisition at the local market level by being in touch with the pulse of the competition, local insights and FTD targets for all markets under league/teams
  • Ability to analyze data and create recaps on promotional campaigns, events, and deliverables within contract assets.

 

 

What You Will Need:

  • 6-8 years of partnership marketing experience in a sports role for a sports team, league, brand or agency
  • Entrepreneurial experience. Willing to be a be a builder and add structure to a new and changing team
  • Creative thinker and program builder with a positive can-do attitude
  • Comfortable with travel
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, highly matrix organization
  • Comfortable in an environment where change is constant
  • Ability to present and create decks for executive leadership internal and external
  • Organized and able to communicate project tasks clearly throughout the organization
