About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Director, Events & Client Services to co-lead our dynamic team providing unparalleled service to our hospitality clients and creating exceptional experiences at Oracle Park. Reporting to the President of Giants Enterprises, this role is responsible for developing our client services team, stewarding a service-oriented hospitality culture and elevating our event operations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, financial acumen, customer service and exceptional leadership skills.  Employee will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our events and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. 
 
The Sr. Director, Events & Client Services leads the event strategy, sets the vision, builds the team, allocates budget, and manages external or internal partnerships. They oversee the entire event process, supervising the rest of the team to make sure no balls are dropped.

·        Develop and lead a team of exceptional client services managers, providing guidance, mentorship, education, inspiration and support to ensure the successful planning and execution of a wide range of events. 
·        Cultivate a culture of high-quality, service-oriented, personalized and personable hospitality
·        Strive to ensure all private events hosted maintain a high standard of service, professionalism and hospitality
·        Lead a cross-functional team in the integrated execution of full venue events (concerts, motor sports, etc.)
·        Collaborate with VP of Event Services and Director of Experience Development (among others) to ensure our events are creative, effective, and efficiently executed in a fiscally responsible manner. 
·        Oversee the financial analysis and budget management for events and the overall portfolio, ensuring adherence to financial target and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue generation. 
·        Collaborate with President and VP of Sales & Marketing for Giants Enterprises, influencing the future growth and evolution of the Giants Enterprises business model. 
·        Acquire a strong sense for who key clients, partners and industry associates are in order to ensure all interactions are realized at the appropriate level.
·        Foster a strong, collaborative, cohesive culture within the department and the organization. 
·        Develop and implement staffing strategies, including industry-specific recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, to ensure the team is equipped to deliver high-quality events and client service. 
·        In collaboration with other event-focused leaders, support our broader organizational strategy and create service and operational excellence by:
o   Identifying areas to create and implement process improvement across the operations of our owned and operated venue
o   Embedding a service-oriented approach throughout our organization
o   Operationalizing and improving internal processes to create efficiencies
·        Provide direction for the successful execution of Giants Enterprises client programs and events
·        Cultivate strong relationships with external partners and industry peers, staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.
·        Ensure client services management team is clearly and proactively communicating with all stakeholders regarding event objectives, timelines and deliverables. 
·        Understand, analyze, share and optimize information and insights regarding event margins and associated sales strategies. 
·        In coordination with other department leaders, respond to crisis management situations making quick and informed decisions to address unforeseen challenges related to events
 
Qualifications: 
·        Proven experience in client services and event production, with a track record of successfully leading teams
·        Strong financial acumen, capable of budget creation, analysis, and optimization for individual events, operating requirements and department initiatives. 
·        The ability to communicate with respect and diplomacy across all levels of business is essential to this position.
·        Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to listen, inspire, build consensus and develop a diverse team of event producers, across all levels of the organization.
·        Proficient in project management methodologies, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
·        Strategic thinker with the ability to align event strategies with overarching organizational objectives. 
·        Proven process-builder who can conceive, implement, and gain adoption for new processes and structure
·        Flexible and reliable team player both within the department and within the organization as a whole
·        Candidate demonstrates integrity, collaboration, a no-limits mindset, objectivity, and consistent results using global best practices
·        Self-starter who is extremely detailed-oriented and works well under pressure and has the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

$120 - $140 a year
At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $120,000 to $140,000 total compensation plus Incentives ,and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision Additionally, this role might be eligible for bonus or incentive awards.
