FloSports is looking for a graphics oriented producer to join our Live Production team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, talented, highly-technical live broadcast professional with a proven record of graphics producing at the live event level. This role must maintain a hunger to be the best in the streaming industry while overcoming tough challenges that you will be faced with unpredictable hours, mediating communication and element deployment between multiple internal and external parties. You will be entrusted with the responsibility and the opportunity to grow our graphics deployment and integration, as well as have a real and immediate impact on the success of the company and the sports that we cover. 

This position will be office based in Austin but will still have some travel up to 30% of the time and work on evenings/weekends/holidays is a must. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the internal effort to expand and deploy new graphics packages and integration for on-air live events
• Coordinate between our internal design team, coordinating producers, and producers to implement and deploy new graphics packages
• Work closely with external vendor as part of our graphics deployment to integrate our packages with their cloud based graphics deployment software
• Create documentation for internal and external use creating SOPs and guidelines for best graphics creation and execution
• Review graphics use during productions and offer feedback to producers on adherence to internal standards
• Lead graphics execution on events as the graphics producer for the live event
• Train internal and external broadcasters on best use practices for our graphics operation
• Execute and teach proper graphics pre-production work including athlete/team research, pre-preparing graphics for broadcast, promotional graphics, and event related graphics like lineups and player/coach biographies
• Lead productions of events for on-site broadcasts
• Seek & execute revenue growth through sponsored graphic opportunities 
• Be involved in every stage of the production from pre-production through the entire Live broadcast process
• Manage pre-production planning details, schedules, timelines and overall event documentation
• Participate in and organize an efficient technical setup and tear down.
• Perform thorough inventory checks both before and after each show.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and production problems logically, calmly and efficiently
• Take ownership of production quality and help to drive improvements
• Help to build and strengthen working relationships with partners, vendors, contingent crew members and other event stakeholders
• Working knowledge of applicable creative software applications including the Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere is a plus.
• Help maintain studio production scheduling and organization
• Produce shows, podcasts, and other content from our in-office studios
• Contribute to remote productions coming out of our in-office control rooms in roles such as producer, director, graphics operator, etc

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Background or education in video production
• Direct experience with graphics integration on live events
• Experience with Singular live graphics, or other cloud based graphics platforms, a plus
• Experience with industry standard graphics applications such as Chryon Duet, Lyric, Xpression, or VizRT a plus
• Ability to manage projects from concept to creation
• Proven experience producing events in a live streaming or broadcast environment
• Experience with storytelling, editing, shooting, lighting, and audio
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to lead, execute and deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with software and hardware encoders
• Advanced experience with live video streaming software such as vMix & OBS 
• Familiarity with H.264/H.265 encoding and RTMP & SRT streaming protocols.
• Familiarity with basic IT network cabling and infrastructure.  
• Process driven and detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet travel requirements, including weekends and holidays
