Overview
Blitz.gg is a rapidly growing gaming startup that focuses on delivering the best gaming experience for our users. We’re looking for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and help us scale our ability to onboard new games.
This position prefers you to be on-site Monday through Thursday in our Los Angeles office, with optional WFH on Fridays. For potential remote hires, we require operating during Pacific Time Zone business hours.
What You’ll Do
- Create engaging UI/UX using React/Typescript
- Work with a combination of data from several different games along with our own aggregations via GraphQL
- Work with our design team to implement valuable insights and coaching interfaces
- Implement new features for our current supported games as well as the many new upcoming games
- Create clean component apis, with a focus on performance and usability
- Work with several parts of our app, from game support to overlays
- Contribute to the conversion for app & api architecture
- Collaborate with our team of front and back end engineers
What It Takes To Be Successful
- Proficiency in React, and Javascript/TypeScript
- Proficiency with CSS in JS & CSS variables
- Proficiency with GraphQL/Rest APIs
- Knowledge of Git for version control
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment
Nice To Have
- Experience with the gaming industry, Blitz, or the games we support.
- Experience with accessible design & accessibility best practices
- Experience with Figma

- Annual salary range: $140-170k USD + bonus
