Come play a role in the growth of MLB Media, the Advertising and Sponsorship division of Major League Baseball. We are looking for an energetic, experienced Sales Service Executive in Chicago.Job Duties Will Include
- Supporting a Multimedia Team consisting of TV & Digital Account Executives
- Must have Digital & TV experience
- Primary functions:
- Build Digital Plans & manage TV planning process
- Work closely with internal Marketing Teams to both respond to RFPs and to proactively target ideas
- Actively mentoring Account Services team and overseeing the stewardship of proposals, deals and post-deal analysis
- Work closely with internal teams to help launch sold deals and ensure delivery
- Maintain and cultivate Agency relationships
- Help prospect from existing Agency List
- Assist AEs in reporting on executed Added Value components of Media Buys
- Must be professional, organized, and motivated as well as have the drive to succeed
- Looking for someone who can anticipate client and sales team needs. Would include planning, research, analysis, project management and brainstorming.
- Organized and have the ability to multi-tasker
- Have strong attention to detail
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Must be proactive and a team player
- Will have the opportunity to present
- Proactively prospect and research accounts to drive new business.
- Some evening hospitality expectations – games, dinners, etc
- Occasional travel
- Must have a minimum 2-5 years of media experience.
- Must have working knowledge of the TV and Digital ad marketplace
- Sports Media & Sales Experience a plus
- Working knowledge of how to read/build Digital & TV Media plans a plus
