THE POSITION 
Our roster has an opening with your name on it 

We are looking for a Marketing Models Analyst to join our team. You will derive insights for group-wide and marketing teams in order to drive actionable insights about the business. You will work alongside a group of other analysts through various individual and team assignments to continually evolve the various tools, models, and data visualizations used to drive the FanDuel Group business.

 

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Work with other analysts to produce specific insights around the impact of past and future media investment impact on the FanDuel Group business
  • Create, modify and evolve timeseries models and forecast to quantify the real word impact of marketing tactics on commercial KPIs
  • Work on a team charged with building, maintaining, and evolving as suite of Marketing Mix Models tools the enable better decision within marketing
  • Create and maintain automated reporting processes visible to the marketing and group-wide teams
  • Participate in presentations focused on using analysis, simulations, and forecast to drive marketing investment decisions
  • Field and fulfil requests for various business inquires
  • Opportunity to mentor junior analysts on day to day requests as well as team best practices

 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate 

  • 2-4+ years' experience in an analytics role preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
  • Hands on experience working with timeseries data and forecasting required; experience building and maintaining forecasts and timeseries models preferred
  • Experience using simulations for scenario analysis and recommendations
  • Strong personal organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python or R required
  • Strong problem-solving skills, allied with track record of transforming data into actionable business insight
  • Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra year projects
  • Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries and time zones preferred
  • Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred
