Data Analyst

The Tennessee Titans are looking for a strategic and driven individual to be an integral part in continuing to build the basis of data literacy and data driven decisions of our business intelligence team. This role will serve as an internal consultant to all business departments, leveraging data to derive insights used to push corporate initiatives. This is an exciting time for the Titans as we embark on the task of building, marketing, and selling a new stadium. The Data Analyst will report to the Director of Business Intelligence. 

• Build high-quality data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for organization-wide use
• Go beyond the reports and data to present wholistic recommendations and real life applications that build on the data findings
• Foster relationships with data end users to ensure that the BI team is maximizing efforts that drive outcomes across the organization
• Derive meaningful KPIs and maintain them to order to provide clarity to all stakeholders on overall progress and direction
• Present findings, actionable insights, and recommendations to all stakeholders, including executive management and department heads
• Help complete entire data analysis life cycle from procuring and cleaning raw data, identifying key insights, and working with others on the BI team to create interactive dashboards displaying those key insights
• Design, engineer and maintain analytical tools and models using statistical or data science approach and develop custom algorithms to create business solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by establishing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures
• Review current business operation processes to identify automation opportunities within current data environment.

• Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies in mathematics, economics, computer science, sports management or business preferred
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Advanced SQL programming skills
• Strong proficiency using data visualization tools; Tableau preferred
• Data programming skills (R/Python)
• Experience with ticketing systems; SeatGeek preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention detail and accuracy; good data story teller
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Strong teamwork and relationship management skills and ability to work effectively with all personalities to support a strong, unified culture
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment and meet quick deadlines
• Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
