The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, leveraging innovative technology that creates the ultimate one-of-kind guest experience and best in class restaurant and bar operations. The US Payroll Manager based out of the Central Office works closely and consultatively with finance, operations, and human resources. The role works independently and will report to the US Accounting Manager with frequent interactions with the US VP of Human Resources, venue operations teams, and the rest of the finance team. Effective communication and partnerships with all levels of the organization is essential.

What you'll do:
- Lead full cycle weekly (venue hourly), bi-weekly (venue salaried), and semi-monthly (corporate) payroll processing for US multi-state associates
- Develop, oversee and supervise the organization's payroll function, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed on time, with accuracy and compliance with all federal and state regulations
- Manage effective relationships with third-party payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all associates
- Review quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, including W-2s and 1095-Cs
- Proactively respond to tax notices, wage orders, and other governmental notices in partnership with third-party payroll vendors
- Develop and enforce payroll policies and procedures to maintain a strong internal control environment
- Collaborate with the human resources team to maintain and ensure the integrity of associate data
- Oversee processing of all payroll updates (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
- Make ongoing recommendations to improve processes and internal controls as necessary
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and local, state and federal rules and laws on payroll taxes
- Support all internal and external audits related to payroll
- Ad hoc requests as needed throughout the year
Who you are:
- 2+ years' experience of fully cycle, multi-unit, ideally hospitality, experience with organizations operating in multiple states
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent experience
Key Skills/Competencies:
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, diverse work environment
- Proficient organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to meet demanding, evolving, and overlapping deadlines
- Proficiency in use of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred
