As Social Media Director, you will drive the development of the PrizePicks brand across all major and emerging social media platforms. You will also have the opportunity to build out the team you will manage (5+ person social team) and shape our social strategy as we scale.

Social Media Director Responsibilities:
- Develop cohesive strategy across all consumer-facing social media channels
- Facebook
- Twitter
- Instagram
- Snapchat
- TikTok
- Discord
- YouTube
- Refine appropriate brand voice across platforms
- Develop and manage short and long-term content strategies for ongoing channel management and growth
- Build out and lead a social team of managers, coordinators, and interns
- Identify opportunities for community growth/management and engagement
- Audit our social media software solutions and run RFP process as needed for optimal tech stack
- Maintain a deep understanding of social media best practices, performance metrics, data analysis
- Collaborate with the Marketing team & CEO to define, measure, and report content KPIs to drive continuous optimization
- Develop custom quantifiable reporting for measuring consumer engagement (e.g. value of a Like)
- Conduct an audit of social media channels, comparing followers across channels with customer database for the purpose of building customer marketing strategies
- Collaborate with HR & PR on company-focused channels like Glassdoor & AngelList
- Incorporate miscellaneous accounts associated with brand into comprehensive strategy
- Build relationships with priority platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Discord, etc) to ensure PrizePicks is a preferred partner and early-adopter of their updated platform tools
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant B2C professional experience in
- Social media
- Community engagement
- Content creation
- Relevant consumer-facing brand or organization
- Sports-related experience strongly preferred
- Experience procuring software and taking part in RFP processes
- Experience in implementing social media content strategies and content calendars across multiple platforms including: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and additional emerging platforms e.g. TikTok, Discord
- Highly detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of and familiarity with social media trends
- Passionate about teamwork and a history of fostering a collaborative and positive working environment
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Background in Creative and/or Copywriting a plus
- Interest and knowledge of sports is a must
