RECUR is building the future of digital collectibles on-chain, known as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) – the newest Unicorn industry.

Global brands are interested in venturing into NFTs to establish new connections with their fans. However, they are very careful about who they work with, especially in the cutting-edge world of blockchain. RECUR is founded by the perfect blend of leaders in the brand licensing space and technology leaders from top cryptocurrency exchanges, digital asset trading desks, financial institutions, and blockchain software companies. Investors include Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum, Winklevoss Twins, Courtside VC, Hashed, and many more.

RECUR is seeking a VP of Licensing to join its team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling company where you will lead our strategic partnerships and the overall strategy of licensings deals.


What you will do at RECUR

  • Strategically expand RECURs IP portfolio through licensing & partnership deals
  • Sell & close licensing partners and manage the sales pipeline & KPIs associated with the pipeline
  • Be a deck master. Know how to create a presentation deck & demonstrate working relationships with designers to create decks to pitch.
  • Lead the day to day operations for licensing partnerships
  • Kick off all post-deal activities spanning short-term integration and long-term realization of business goals by working closely with RECUR leadership
  • Manage multiple resources and assist in prioritizing and delegating tasks to various teams
  • Build, execute, and continuously scale new business ideas and revenue opportunities
  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments: Gaming, Creative, Community, Marketing, & Product to deliver outstanding product and fan experiences
  • Work closely with the Creative team to lead the strategic direction of each brand experience
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the licensing and partnership team

What you bring to RECUR

  • 12+ years of experience in brand and franchise portfolio management
  • Highly motivated, energetic and self-starter individual who can thrive in a high-pressure, results-driven environment and influence change at the highest levels of the organization
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated success in driving the new business process from concept, sale, and execution
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of the NFT space, tech and collecting/fandom
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue, establishing partnerships and leading teams
  • Strong business development, client relationship management and deal execution experience
  • Ability to create presentation decks from scratch along with EXCEPTIONAL presentation skills
  • Forward-thinker who can anticipate the needs of the team and think strategically in the long-term
  • Outstanding leadership and strategic thinking skills
