Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and exciting Payroll Manager to join our team at Pickleball Inc. As a Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation within our organization. Your responsibilities will include calculating wages, processing deductions, and adhering to tax regulations, all while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail. Your expertise will contribute to smooth payroll operations, employee satisfaction, and compliance with legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain and review payroll processing system to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions.
- Act as the primary point of contact on payroll.
- Manage third party relationship with Payroll provider to coordinate system updates, reporting, integrations and timely quarterly & amp; annual filings.
- Provide general administrative support to accounting functions, including filing, copying, scanning and file management of financial documents.
- Assist with special projects as requested.
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule and work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience running multiple payrolls.
- Experience with payroll taxes and working with state tax agencies.
- Experience with 401(K) funding.
- Comfortable with payroll journal entries (i.e. month end payroll JE, month end payroll accrual, bonus accrual).
- Experience moving payroll systems is a plus.
- Possess exceptional organizational abilities.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of effectively managing tasks, setting priorities, and maintaining structured workflows.
- Operate in a timely and punctual manner throughout the payroll process.
Must be based out of our Dallas, TX Headquarters.
