Position Overview

This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining all company related websites including but not limited to enhancements, troubleshooting and production. This position will assist with overall development priorities by coordinating with other departments such as Creative Services, Team and Arena Marketing, Ticket Sales and Services, Partnerships and Ticket Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Update and publish all content, both HTML and documents, for all company websites
  • Assist with long-term plan for the company's website development and presence, including standards and guidelines for content based on business goals and input from stakeholders
  • Ensure a consistent look and feel across all company websites by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, layout, and creating appropriate templates to assist content authors
  • Conceptualize, design, and code front-end responsive websites using clean HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Develop, implement, and enforce appropriate web use and privacy policies
  • Address all internal/external customer reports of website functional difficulties. Find, diagnose, and fix website problems, including broken links (both internal and external), typographical errors and formatting inconsistencies
  • Create and maintain a reference archive for older versions of the website and its content.
  • Assist with writing specs for and leading team site development priorities
  • Help in developing functional and business specifications for new development and draft spec documents
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

 Required Skills, Abilities, Experiences

  • Experience with current Internet standards, including cross-browser styling and optimizations (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari)
  • Deep expertise with current front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors, such as Compass and SASS
  • Experience with graceful degradation and progressive enhancement across browsers and devices
  • Ability to integrate third-party components, such as live chat and marketing promotions
  • Strong expertise with Photoshop
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
  • Expertise with testing and debugging
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including written and verbal
  • Planning and organizing, can prioritize work activities; uses time efficiently
  • Adaptability, Dependability, Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, creative, and motivated individual capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, turning efforts into results
  • Experience with a team on deadline to complete complex technical projects
  • Ability to work extended/untraditional office hours including nights, weekends, holidays, attend company events and travel as needed
  • Willingness and ability to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination required
