The Social Media Manager will create and manage the organization’s social media strategy. The Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing the organization’s message through a variety of social media channels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Help create, oversee and execute the social media strategy for all Titans social media channels
  • Manage the content and prioritization of Titans social media posts while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders
  • Work alongside social director to lead ideation and execution of editorial and content calendars
  • Help with idea generation, content development, planning and scheduling for all social media platforms with a focus on Twitter, Facebook and other traditional social platforms
  • Utilize analytics and insights while working with business intelligence to understand what’s working, what’s not working, and make changes to pivot
  • Identify opportunities to monetize and drive revenue through social channels with sponsorship teams
  • Work with outside social media vendors in conjunction with internal departments of the organization to develop promotions, sweepstakes, contests, games and other fan engagement items on social media channels
  • Oversee other Titans social properties, including but not limited to @TitansCommunity, @TitansCheers, @Titans_TRac, and all podcast accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional social media experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and trends
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
  • Ability to think quickly and creatively in a fast-paced non-stop environment
  • Comfortable multi-tasking independently
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, early mornings, non-traditional hours and holidays
  • Thrive in a team setting where it is required to work and interact with several different departments on a daily basis
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines and under high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of and passion for the NFL
  • In-depth understanding of internet culture and trends
  • Able to work flexible hours, including some nights, weekends and holidays
