The Role

  • Serve as the internal agent for USTA CT business teams and lead the development of player marketing plans for USTA programs and associated products
  • Develop and nurture customer journeys for all segments of players and ensure coordination across CT marketing to lead key connection points between players and providers
  • Recommend strategies for acquisition and retention of tennis consumers through engagement with the goal of collecting data to increase USTA program and digital product adoption as well as manage and drive USTA paid memberships (consumer). This includes developing and implementing full-year marketing plans, inclusive of:
  • Developing campaigns
  • Leading direct marketing plans
  • Managing promotional offers and upsells
  • Email campaigns as a primary channel
  • Collateral development
  • Develop event activations to support USTA initiatives as needed
  • Establish critical metrics against every campaign and ensure they ladder to broader organization goals – develop measurement and analytics plan with internal analyst teams
  • Participation with USTA volunteer network and annual meeting as dictated by the business
  • Manage budgets for all consumer marketing and activation efforts

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications 
  • A minimum of 5+ years experience in marketing, advertising (including digital), promotions and media planning with strong experience in digital
  • CRM experience a plus
  • Experience in sports and entertainment a plus
  • Strong strategic thinker and self-starter
  • Strong written and oral communications communication skills, email marketing experience a plus
  • Position is exempt
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time.

The expected range for the base salary for this position $80,000 to $95,000/yr. Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for, are not included in this range. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
