Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Digital Content, the Masters Content Manager is responsible for the year-round planning and production of all digital content efforts of the Masters Tournament, including oversight of the budgeted financial resources in line with the existing business and content strategies of the Tournament. The Masters Content Manager will engage and grow audiences of the Masters Tournament via web, social and third-party partnerships and manage the year-round editorial calendar of the Masters Tournament and requisite production resources. In addition, this role is responsible for staffing and leading the in-event digital content team and is accountable for its results. Like all positions at Augusta National, this position must maintain the strict confidentiality of all Club business.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Digital Content to develop and execute the year-round content strategy of the Masters Tournament across all digital platforms (web, social and third-party partnerships); Build and maintain annual editorial content calendar.
- Lead the execution of the Masters Tournament content strategy to acquire, engage and retain audiences on popular and emerging global content platforms (e.g. web, social, streaming).
- Responsible for staffing and leading a multi-disciplinary content team (photo, video, written word, design, podcast, etc).
- Lead coordination between internal stakeholders and external vendors to plan, execute and publish multimedia content (photo, video, article, graphics, etc.) on Masters.com and @TheMasters social platforms.
- Accountable for the performance of the content output and content team; Responsible for the discretionary oversight of the associated financial resources needed to accomplish the stated outcomes.
- Ensure all Masters Tournament digital distribution channels are regularly updated, accurate, on-brand, and aligned with the Club’s overall vision, mission, and strategy.
- Curate and organize content across all digital distribution platforms and the Augusta National archive using proper metadata and tagging to ensure discoverability and usability.
- Assist with the technical execution of Masters Tournament content, including but not limited to content publishing, live video streaming, digital scoring, live shot tracking and online gaming efforts.
- Partner with Communications and Brand / Marketing departments to ensure timely, accurate and compelling distribution of necessary messaging around key tactics.
- Develop, maintain, and actively learn content production and publishing best practices and educate team members accordingly.

Relative Experience/Education:
- 5+ years of related experience in content production and publishing.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
Required License(s):
- Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program.
Projected Work Schedule:
Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
