THE POSITION:

FanDuel Group is looking for a Sr. Director to join its Strategy and Partnerships Team, who will be responsible for building, evaluating and managing partnership opportunities with key clients in the sports and media industries. In addition, the Sr. Director will assist with the analysis of M&A, investment and other strategic opportunities for FanDuel Group. The Sr. Director will work cross-functionally with other teams at the company, serving as quarterback to execute on opportunities that will drive key company objectives and business growth.
THE GAME PLAN:

The Sr. Director will be responsible for:
- Identifying, analyzing and maintaining strategic partnership opportunities with media organizations and professional sports leagues
- Staying up-to-date on partnership landscape and competitive activations
- Representing FanDuel with 3rd party partners and fielding incoming partnership inquiries
- Assisting with the evaluation of M&A, investment and other strategic opportunities, including due diligence, financial modelling, valuation and presentations
- Reviewing and providing comments on key legal agreements
- Working directly with key executives and partnering with other internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Commercial, Product) to evaluate opportunities and develop corporate strategy
- Developing and presenting key findings to FanDuel management
THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- 7+ years of experience in business development, investment banking or management consulting (experience in the gaming, media or sports industries required)
- Strong financial modeling and presentation skill set (proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required)
- Facility reading and understanding contracts
- Experience communicating and presenting to internal and external partners
- Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Strategic and creative thinker with strong analytical skills who can dissect complex issues and make thoughtful recommendations and action plans
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Results orientated and performance driven
