ROLE OVERVIEW:
Sportradar is looking for a Product Manager for our innovative new sports betting products at our office in Minneapolis or New York (though will largely be remote to start)

 

This role will give you the opportunity to develop Sportradar’s strategy for personalized betting stimulation in the US, providing direction and motivation to all of our relevant teams across multiple global locations.

 

You will closely collaborate with Customers, Product Teams, Sales and Media Teams in the process of planning, implementing and managing the execution of our betting stimulation products.

 

Due to our long-standing relationships with all major betting operators in the US and our high profile sports league/federation agreements, you will have access to and influence over all the major players in this growing market.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have a real passion for sports & betting, and an instinct for what will make great products for consumers. Ideally you will have prior experience in product management, the sports betting space, working with teams in a matrix organization across multiple locations, and have a charisma and passion that inspires others to believe in your purpose and vision.


 THE CHALLENGE:

·       Working closely with both the U.S. and global teams to create a product – primarily for bookmakers – designed to help personalize and stimulate the sports betting experience

·       Responsible for defining product requirements, business cases and priorities

·       Drive the development process and implementation of projects and initiatives

·       Fully manage the product lifecycle; development, launch, and maintenance

·       Act as a spokesperson for our product internally and externally – including meetings and requirement sessions with the major U.S. sports leagues

·       Prepare multiple product presentations, user guides, and additional documentation in association with the Marketing team where necessary

·       Work with the product team and sales on maximizing the sales opportunities to B2B customers

·       Conduct market research to identify needs for product improvements and innovation
 

YOUR PROFILE:

·       As an ideal candidate, you have previous 3+ years of proven experience in a product development environment

·       Excellent understanding of sports betting and US sports in particular

·       A passion for sport as entertainment and betting as a leisure pastime

·       A great communicator with an ability to create and sell a vision

·       An independent and results-oriented attitude

·       A track record of collaboration and team work

·       Excellent organizational skills

·       Fluent in English (written and spoken)
