SUMMARY
The Seattle Seahawks are seeking a Social Content Manager to oversee day-to-day programming and content creation for Seahawks channels throughout the calendar year. The responsibilities for this role will include management of some the team’s most important social platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, while providing support on various other platforms and channels as assigned.
As the voice of the team reaching an audience of millions of fans, this candidate must be an excellent writer with strong editorial judgement and an understanding of what works and what does not work on multiple social media platforms. They can create the perfect caption for a video highlight, graphic design or other media asset. They are also capable of identifying content opportunities and regularly executing ideas from initial concept to posting with minimal assistance. While this role will be empowered to pursue content on their own, they will frequently collaborate with other content creators in video and design to build and deliver content.
This candidate should have an extensive background in content creation and a proven track record of success in previous roles.
