Jomboy Media is seeking an NYC-based Account Executive to join our fast-growing team of trendsetters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to make a difference in a hyper-growth environment. This person will have an immediate impact on our revenue with the primary focus of generating new business. We are looking for someone with experience successfully selling in an ambiguous & complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire sales process.
  • Identify ad partners that have a strong fit with our brand voice & listener base. Then, navigate to the appropriate decision-maker at each partner.
  • Schedule meetings with client and agency decision-makers. Lead the pitch for why Jomboy Media is a good fit for each partner.
  • Create and lead persuasive sales presentations
  • Build media plans across Jomboy Media personalities, properties, and distribution channels.
  • Lead deal negotiations to come to terms that are beneficial to Jomboy Media and ad partners.
  • Accurately maintain a detailed pipeline with projected revenue numbers.
  • Meet ambitious individual and team-level quarterly revenue targets.
  • Constantly look for new opportunities to develop and monetizable solutions for clients.
  • Build relationships with clients and represent Jomboy Media in a positive light. Over-communicate, under-promise, and over-deliver.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.)
  • 2-3 years of digital sales experience with a documented success record (Podcast, YouTube & social media experience a plus)
  • Excitement and passion for changing the sports media landscape
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships & influence stakeholders
  • Creative thinker that thrives in an ambiguous environment
