The Senior Director of Production Management & Events at Fanatics Collectibles provides critical support to the Content & Breaking leadership team. This position will be responsible for helping to build out and manage a new procedures and workflows that will be critical to ensuring exceptional delivery of content and tentpole events. You will be directly responsible for managing production personnel and budgets ensuring both are being handled professionally and efficiently. You will also interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure communication between all parties and the flow of production across simultaneous projects are happening efficiently and on time. The Senior Director of Production Management and Events is a collaborative leader who understands company business objectives and how premium content is utilized to support and amplify them.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior production staff to ensure logistics of all productions, personnel and events.
  • Create workflows to help scale Fanatics Collectibles production capacity to output hundreds of pieces of content yearly.
  • Be the point of contact for all vendors and ensure appropriate filing is done in course with production timelines.
  • Liaise with appropriate internal stakeholders to determine short & long term production plans.
  • Develop estimates and working budgets that support project needs while satisfying department budget requirements.
  • Ability to clearly multi-task as a project leader across live-production, post-production and live events.
  • Establish and maintain an accessible filing protocol for all projects including invoices, contracts, budgets and other production business forms.
  • Manage on-camera talent and influencer logistics and needs.
  • Ensure a seamless production workflow environment through open communication and team leadership and accessibility.

Qualifications

  • 10 – 15 years of production management experience
  • 7+ years of budget management experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • 5+ years of contract management experience
  • Experience dealing with logistics for high budget productions and events
  • Experience dealing with talent and their representatives
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Post-production work flow experience
  • Live-event staff and vendor logistics
  • Strong rolodex of contacts in the production space across North America
  • Self-starter who is customer obsessed and an enthusiastic leader
  • Passion for working in a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that is energetic, positive and resourceful
  • Knowledge of trading cards and the hobby is a plus but not required
