WHY WE NEED YOU
 
The Director of Digital Marketing role is focused on developing and implementing digital media strategies across existing and new channels to accelerate growth through qualified traffic, leads, and acquisition.  You will be laser-focused on campaign optimization and delivering measurable results while also continually innovating Hydrow's digital marketing playbook.  You will be responsible for driving double-digit YoY revenue growth for the DTC business by strategically scaling an array of digital marketing channels and building a best in class digital media practice. 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

      •  
First Thirty Days
      • Assess existing channel performance and create a "low-hanging fruit" list of optimizations and tests
      • Develop a point of view of budget allocation and the required marketing mix to reach revenue targets
      • Define the KPIs each respective digital channel should be held to as well as relevant benchmarks
First Three Months
      • Create a FY23 roadmap for channel investment and media mix
      • Build and maintain a report, of channel performance across various KPIs
      • Execute five significant a/b tests on either new or existing digital channels
      • Launch 1-2 new digital channels with platform specific creative
      • Begin building out the Digital Marketing team
First Six Months
      • Launch 2-4 new digital channels with platform specific creative
      • Collaborate with the Brand team to optimize brand vs evergreen campaign cadence
      • Decrease Performance CPA by 20% YoY by optimizing bids, targeting, and creative
On an ongoing basis:
    • Oversee, manage and maximize returns on all paid media initiatives across Instagram, Facebook, Google, Shopping, Display, programmatic, and other digital media campaigns
    • Oversee performance tracking and calibration on a daily basis to drive decision making around budget allocations and forecasts and ensure that spend is appropriately allocated to tactics with optimal returns and efficiency 
    • Own the holistic view of our digital  media efforts defining clear KPIs across the marketing funnel that enable the team to clearly gauge investment effectiveness
    • Test and grow new acquisition channels and activities to improve overall marketing sales and efficiency.  You will cultivate a culture of innovation, constant optimization and testing.  
    • Partner with internal marketing team members to develop strong messaging and story-telling and to create new campaigns and achieve desired campaign goals 
    • Manage relationships with key external partners including media, agencies, and martech vendors
    • Establish cross-functional relationships across Brand, Creative, Data & Analytics, Product, Finance, Operations and Member Services  to ensure successful rollout of paid media strategies and campaigns

WHO YOU ARE

      • Technical Knowledge: You have a proven track-record of developing marketing strategies, executing, measuring, and delivering on performance targets and a love for optimizing results. You have extensive knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics,, Facebook Ad Manager, , programmatic media, etc. You have the ability to concept and implement A/B tests on creative, ad copy, and targeting. Experience working in B2C or subscription marketing is preferred.
      • Analytical / Quantitative Skills: You are data and analytics obsessed - ability to quickly develop, measure and optimize marketing programs against quantitative frameworks. 
      • Organization and planning: Strong project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations
      • Communication: You have strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills to inform, encourage and implement impactful marketing initiatives.
      • Collaboration: You have a strong work ethic and a natural ability to collaborate well with others across the organization and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly-fluid environment.
