Summary:

The Sr. Analyst of Fan Engagement will be responsible for harnessing the power of data, applied analytics, and technology to get results within fan engagement. This position will work closely with the leaders and team members of Digital/Marketing, Retail, F&B and the Arena (Fiserv Forum). This person will lead quantitative and qualitative analyses and data-driven insights on marketing (digital/email/etc.), market research, F&B, retail and arena operations for the Bucks, Herd, Marquette and Arena Concerts/Shows. This role will be essential in using analytics to connect the dots across all aspects of fan engagement to elevate the fan experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement strategic projects including:
    • Creating a comprehensive market research strategy, leading its implementation, and assessing its impact
    • Optimizing the use of StellarAlgo
    • Launching reporting for a new loyalty program
  • Work hands-on with regular and ad-hoc reporting/analytics for fan engagement business verticals
    • Complete data exploration and identify trends that enable the organization to improve revenue streams and optimize processes
    • Develop dashboards on business performance and provide strategic recommendations
    • Use CRM analytics to advance business objectives
  • Partner with technology team, third-party vendors, and outside consultants to continually integrate the tools, services, methods, and processes supporting analysis
  • Improve organizational data literacy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or similar domain
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus!
  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience in analytics or related field with a strong and well-rounded knowledge of general business operations
  • Excellent computer skills, including SQL experience, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical software (R, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc.), CRM (MS Dynamics), Archtics and Power BI
  • Practical experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis methods
  • Good project management, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
  • High-level of dedication to a quality work product
  • Proven track record of deriving insights from large data sources and presenting in a clear and concise narrative form
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to communicate effectively with different audiences such as various internal customers, outside agencies, organizations, and vendors
  • Ability to manage relationships with key constituents as appropriate
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed given the nature of the sports and entertainment business
