TITLE: Manager, MarketingDEPARTMENT: Marketing

STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages promotion of ongoing initiatives consisting of, but not limited to, ticket promotions (single game, group, suite, hospitality, season ticket membership), experiential activations, community marketing activations, Petco Park concerts and special events, as well as themed game activations
- Develop ongoing email communications for marketing, ticketing, community and organizational initiatives
- Maintains current website content across all disciplines and develops new content as needed to support key Initiatives
- Collaborate directly with creative services team to develop promotional assets for website, videoboard, email communications, mobile as well as flyers to support marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with Padres marketing, business analytics, corporate partnerships, ticket operations, ticket sales and service, community relations, ballpark operations on management and execution of cross-departmental initiatives
- Manage MLB.com Ballpark app content updates
- Working with Business Analytics team, play key role in customer research processes that includes survey builds, distribution and analytical support
- Leads advertising campaign planning to drive awareness and ticket sales, which includes (but is not limited to):
- Submits creative and production requests for marketing assets
- Tracks and reports media campaigns, measuring effectiveness and providing key insights to continually adjust along the way
- Coordinate media promotions with radio/TV stations to enhance exposure of games/events
- Oversees traffic and monitoring of all Padres in-game and out-of-game pre-recorded spots on radio and TV
- Oversees the Padres in-game broadcast drop-ins
- Oversees the In-game traffic and promotional inclusions through owned assets
- Work closely with other departments within the organization on various strategic initiatives to drive the business
- Represents the Club in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or educational equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Business or other closely related fields
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in related marketing and/or advertising roles. Sports experience not necessary
- Experience working with graphic/video production teams in the development of static and video assets
- Strong ability to collaborate with co-workers and supervisors in team environment, yet also be able to work autonomously, be resourceful and make critical decisions
- Maintains a positive, results-oriented, proactive and entrepreneurial approach to departmental initiatives
- Strong personal management, time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
- Possesses high degree of discretion and professionalism
- Able to work independently and make appropriate decisions based on experience and guidelines
- Proficient to advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Able to work Padres home games and other special events as needed, which may include weekends, holidays and evenings
- Minimum physical requirements: able to lift 25 pounds, travel around the ballpark including up/down steps
