POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Project Manager will be working with the facilities and infrastructure leads within the organization and will lead scoping, designing, and delivering all capital projects from initial proposal to end delivery. They will be experienced in writing project briefs including feasibility requirements, proposal, budgeting and schedule. This position requires someone who has strong project management and constructions experience.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple projects to deliver in line with specification, program, and budget. Majority of projects will range from sport to non-sport specific infrastructure improvements.
  • Management of all internal clients to ensure seamless integration of requirements in line with business needs
  • Oversight and accountability for project delivery across CFG’s Americas clubs in both advisory and project manager capacity.
  • Provide consistent progress reports on all projects and create appropriate working groups and SteerCo’s.
  • Ensure all projects are procured/contracted in line with CFG guidelines.
  • Undertake reviews of business needs to provide strategic investment plans.
  • Provide feedback and advise local team on the selection of project consultants and contractors based.
  • Monitor delivery of agreed upon scope of work by consultants and contractors.
  • Ability to provide guidance to make the right decision with local team, and the Americas team.
  • Prepare approvals for board review and guidance on contractors, consultants.
  • This position requires international travel 25% - 30% per year to clubs within the Americas region.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

  • At least 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Prior management of multiple teams across various time zones/countries
  • Strong experience overseeing delivery of multi million pound/ dollar schemes
  • Proficient in Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in the sports industry
  • CAD Proficient
  • CDM/Prince Qualified (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite.

 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC.

 

COMPENSATION:

This exempt position has an estimated annual base salary range of $90,000 - $110,000. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
