We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Operations. As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency in our Executive administration, IT, and Workplace functions. You will be responsible for driving excellence in various operational functions, collaborating cross-functionally, and implementing strategies to achieve our business objectives. You will report directly to the President of Skillz. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the operations of a rapidly growing company.

What You Will Do: 

• Develop and implement a robust business operating system designed to facilitate the consistent and punctual completion of all corporate deliverables and provide an executive dashboard that shows the status of each department’s weekly deliverables and whether they are tracking to completing the 12 week plan with details to road blocks, project plans, etc.

• Build a comprehensive company-wide location-based strategy to align Skillz workforce and expenditure optimization with specific objectives and requirements of each office.

• Implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and optimize operational expenses (Opex) by fostering cross-functional collaboration between Workplace, Executive Assistants, and IT.

• Strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and optimize Opex have resulted in elimination of redundant or inefficient processes and aligned workplace needs with operational goals.

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. MBA preferred.

• Proven track record of at least 8-10 years of progressively responsible roles in operations management.

• Experience in a leadership position, such as Director or Manager of Operations.

• Experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis to drive operational efficiency.

• Experience in leading organizational change initiatives and driving operational transformations to achieve desired outcomes
