Most importantly, ensure that Playmaker’s content strategy is executed and programming goes on as scheduled no matter what
Establish processes and workflows that facilitate efficient and effective content production
Run team brainstorms, translating ideas into fleshed-out concepts for production
Continue to provide feedback and suggestions to leadership to help refine Playmaker’s content strategy and implement improvements
Work with team members to research, develop and execute new content ideas
Deliver high quality content from concept to production (storytelling)
Accountable for delivering content that is engaging, meets KPIs, and drives revenue
Ensure all Playmaker content is in our voice, tone, and meet our quality goals
Create and manage a content calendar for Playmaker original series
Assign projects to Creators/Editors based on content calendar
Maximize efforts on strategic vision, budget tracking and resource allocation
You have...
Proven experience growing audiences on social media channels
Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media, sports & entertainment, or content creation industry
A deep and genuine passion for sports, advertising, social media, branded content, and influencer marketing.
A solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage others and work across multiple teams
Editorial, production, or creative direction experience
A demonstrated understanding of both long and short form content across social media platforms
