As the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will perform full cycle recruiting for the Las Vegas Raiders. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will design and implement recruiting strategies, monitor recruitment procedures, from sourcing to hiring and identifying high-potential candidates. Ultimately, you will help us grow our team with qualified, high performing employees to help achieve business goals. You will also ensure every candidate has a great experience during the recruitment and onboarding process. This position is located in Henderson, NV where the company is headquartered.

 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Manage, facilitate and implement the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and application processing for all full time, part-time, seasonal roles within the organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine their needs, clarify job specifications and requirements, discuss business operations, and develop strategies to fill current and future staffing needs.
  • Assist hiring managers with process questions, provide status updates, support candidate management and other common requests.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. 
  • Develop and implement new approaches to improve the recruitment and onboarding process. 
  • Work with internal partners on employment branding. 
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes. 
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates. 
  • Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. 
  • Run background checks and enter new hire information into ADP, ensuring all data is accurate.  
  • Conduct training sessions with hiring managers to ensure they are well trained and prepared to select top talent. 
  • Own the employee onboarding process with the Sr. Director, ensuring that every employee has a top tier experience entering the organization.  
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. 
  • Communicate with leaders on key recruiting, hiring, and onboarding metrics. 
  • Articulate where key recruiting or hiring gaps might be and puts plans in place to improve. 
  • Assist hiring managers with talent planning and how to think about proactive recruiting vs. reactive.
  • Coordinate travel for candidates and new hires who are relocating. 
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings. 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. 
  • Support Human Resources team with other administrative tasks as needed.  
  • Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as full cycle recruiter required. Ideally, experience is within the sports, entertainment, hospitality, or retail industry.
  • Experience with high volume recruiting of both full time and part time roles required.  
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.   
  • Ability to demonstrate creative and strategic thinking pertaining to recruitment and onboarding strategies.
  • Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow between candidates, hiring managers and the HR team.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.   
  • Demonstrated experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP experience preferred).  
  • Must have a keen understanding of the differences between job classifications.  
  • Strong experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Ability to present reports and data to all levels of the organization in an engaging and concise manner.   
  • Ability to multitask and be nimble to shift priorities quickly.  
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs.
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
