The Experiential Activation Producer, a key contributor to the National Event Experience team, is responsible for driving the creation and execution of engaging fan midway throughout events across the country. This position will have responsibility for leading the development of programming that keeps fans engaged leading up to the start of each race. The ideal candidate for this role must be able to produce live events flawlessly while balancing multiple responsibilities and easily collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage fan midway and all related entertainment elements, including:
    • Produce unique, innovative content & programming for each event, including driver appearances, concerts, and other entertainment elements
    • Oversee the operational layout, overall logistics and fan access;
    • Communicate effectively with key industry stakeholders such as production, broadcast partners, media members and teams;
    • Primary point of contact with outside production company on run of show & logistics;
    • Develop enhanced Minute x Minute logistics documents to include key staff responsibilities and any accompanying maps;

 

  • Manage NASCAR experiential assets & work with third party production suppliers to deliver a entertaining NASCAR themed stage show from gates open until gates close each week.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all NASCAR official partners activating on the midway
  • Collaborate with track presidents & regional marketing teams to deliver a vision in line with their marketing and branding objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to research and recommend concert and other entertainment options for major event weekends;
  • Recruit, hire, train & manage local promotional teams to execute at-track events
  • Manage promotional item inventory & budget – responsible for researching and recommending items that can be used for giveaways at in-market promotional events to help support prospecting and fan engagement efforts
  • Identify and embrace new, unique technologies and strategies to provide memorable, fan-focused event content for both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Serve as primary production lead to all third-party suppliers (including audio video, stunt shows, etc.) – coordinate all necessary logistics.
  • Be able to travel up to 70% including weekends.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum three years live event production experience and or national marketing tour experience
  • Ability to work through on-site event logistics and think operationally is a must
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and is able to take a project from start to finish
  • Strong ability to think strategically, creatively and quickly
  • Detail-oriented and organized with outstanding communication skills
