The Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center are seeking a Manager of Content and Videographer who can encourage and lead our team of content creators to new heights of creativity and excellence. We seek someone who will serve as a creative leader for the team of video content creators, with a focus on producing high-quality videos that align with the HEAT and Kaseya Center branding and marketing goals. In addition to owning the team, the Manager will be responsible for mapping out the visual storytelling elements of different shoots in addition to the shooting, editing, and post-production of video content.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the video production team by example, producing high-quality videos that encourage and push the team to reach new creative heights.
  2. Assist with managing and maintaining the HEAT and arena video production equipment, ensuring that it is accurately used and maintained to produce high-quality video content.
  3. Develop and maintain a consistent visual style for all video content that aligns with the HEAT and Kaseya Center branding and marketing goals.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the Content Studio and other HEAT marketing teams to build cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns.
  5. Lead all aspects of video production, including pre-production, storyboarding, set design, lighting, audio, shooting, editing, and post-production.
  6. Develop workflows for all aspects of video production, from camera operation to color grading to archiving, ensuring efficient and effective processes that enable the team to consistently produce high-quality content.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in video production technology.
  8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the content team, encouraging a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  9. Collaborate with various departments within the organization to identify their video needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  10. Assist with archiving digital content and archiving Miami HEAT history.
  11. Must possess basic knowledge of software applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook for basic office work.
  12. Must have US Passport and be able to travel domestically and internationally.
  13. Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in video production, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality video content that aligns with branding and marketing goals.
  • Strong technical skills in all aspects of video production, including pre-production, shooting, editing, and post-production.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners and external vendors.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to encourage and mentor a team.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in video production technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for creative storytelling and the ability to develop and maintain a consistent visual style.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, AVID Media Composer and Interplay Asset Managing System, RED Digital Cinema Cameras, SONY Cameras, Canon Camera and Lenses, and other industry-standard video production software and hardware
