If so, this role may be right for you. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Arena Event Marketing Manager to join our team and help drive the marketing initiatives that promote our concerts/ events and enhance the overall brand presence at our state-of-the-art arena.

In this role you will develop, build and implement strategic ticket sales plans for concerts, attractions and family shows booked at Intuit Dome. You will also contribute to the marketing strategy across all channels in and out of venue and be responsible for all aspects of Intuit Dome’s marketing campaigns. The Manager will also work with industry colleagues including promoters, record labels, agents, radio stations, artist managers, etc to develop and lead opportunities relating to shows and events playing at the Intuit Dome. The right candidate will have experience in concerts/live events, marketing partnerships/promotions, and must excel at project management.

This is a full-time role on our Marketing team and is based in our DTLA office and is eligible for our competitive benefit offerings including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends, and holidays

What You Will Do

  • Work in partnership with event promoters, contribute to the development and implementatioof robust Marketing Plans and breakthrough communication designed to generate show awareness and drive ticket sales
  • Responsible for the development, activation and execution of artist-related marketing at the venue (including night of show décor and activations for fans and the artists)
  • Lead all aspects of the promotion process of events across Intuit Dome owned assets, which include email, website, digital building signage, LEDs, as well as LA Clippers assets
  • Contribute to social platform and performance marketing strategy, ensuring a clear tone of voice and deliver on key performance metrics
  • Bring creative and disruptive ideas forward and build capability and strategic partnerships that will benefit the organization long-term.
  • Proactively review performance to proactively identify course corrections and/or new opportunities
  • Manage relationship and agreements with key agencies & vendors as well as work alongside comms team and PR firm to ensure media needs are fulfilled
  • Create & develop promotional opportunities with outside partners such as radio, TV, digital, print, etc
  • Special projects and other work as assigned

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in an Event Marketing role, work experience in concerts and/or live events highly preferred
  • Track record of delivering results & ability to make decisions to maximize impact
  • Solid strategic, analytical and execution skills with a track record of delivering strong growth
  • Innovative thinker who thrives at finding ways to drive engagement and elevate the overall experience for all key constituents
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently – high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional project & time management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects at different stages of development
  • Demonstrated ability to develop & cultivate relationships; build consensus & influence business partners internally & externally
  • Solid understanding of Asana or similar project management tool
  • Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Strong and effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
  • Ability to anticipate opportunities/issues and proactively develop recommendations based on sound business judgment
  • Undergraduate/graduate business or marketing degree preferred

Compensation

  • The range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
