About The Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for an IT Security Manager to assist with the maintenance of various technology disciplines and experiences including the design of security architecture for networks, platforms, and applications. In this role, you will provide input into the strategic, tactical, and operational plans to set IT security's direction, policy, standards, and objectives for GSW and Chase Center IT architecture. Additionally, you will lead departmental audits (e.g., PCI DSS, cyber security controls, etc.) and IT projects while recommending security strategies for application design and deployment. This role reports to the Director, IT Security & Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of security controls, leveraging automation to continuously monitor information security controls, exceptions, risks, and testing
  • Manage and report on security controls; support internal assessments/regulations, protecting Personally Identifying Information (PII) data and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)
  • Drive the company’s assessment process; identify process improvement opportunities and develop plans of action to resolve gaps while recommending feasible technologies
  • Implement and coordinate all technological upgrades and changes to the Information Security environment
  • Manage Information Security projects as assigned, including the evaluation of any new applications and vendors for IT security adequacy
  • Develop and present Information Security Awareness training, goals and new programs with business leaders and staff across the organization
  • Oversee internal and third-party Information Security audits; maintain relationships with outside security firms that assist with compliance audits and security reviews
  • Ensure PCI compliance requirements are properly implemented
  • Serve as point of contact for Information Security team; lead and develop team members
  • Develop, collaborate and review security documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science/Business Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Security+, CISSP, certifications preferred
  • 5+ years with IT security-related processes, policies, and procedures; retail and/or entertainment environment support experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years using Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), data and system integrity control, security audit and event management
  • Minimum 3 years analyzing and providing direct end-user support, and operational security controls
  • Experience implementing industry recognized Cyber security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework or MITRE ATT&CK Framework)
  • Scripting, programming, and automation skills helpful (Python, Powershell, Java, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of network firewalls, email security gateways, SIEM, Endpoint Protection, encryption, Cloud Security, and IDS/IPS concepts
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), VPN technologies, security monitoring applications, and computer network penetration testing and techniques
  • Strong familiarity with network security concepts, technologies and trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and resolution skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment

Time Commitment

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed

Compensation

  • $165,000 - 175,000 + Bonus
