SUMMARY

The Digital Product Designer is responsible for designing and building the user interface, navigation, and aesthetic of all BSE Global digital properties. The Digital Product Designer will play a key role in the digital strategy of the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with an unparalleled work ethic and desire to be the best. The ideal candidate will also possess expertise in design best practices, understanding user and client needs, and be an excellent communicator.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Design across web, mobile apps, and in-venue environments, ensuring a consistent user experience across different platforms.
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand business and user requirements and translate them into design solutions.
  • Lead the design of new digital product features and enhancements from ideation to launch, ensuring the design meets user needs and aligns with business goals.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions.
  • Partner with Marketing and Business Intelligence to incorporate customer insights and make data-informed design decisions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communication design concepts and interactions.
  • Present design concepts and user insights to stakeholders and solicit feedback to improve the design.
  • Formulate effective, responsive web designs which demonstrate an understanding of element arrangements on the screen, color choices and font selection which adhere to web-accessibility and brand standards. 
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to identify and implement best practices. 
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, design, development, testing, and deployment. 
  • Bring creativity, problem-solving, and great communication skills to manage across multiple digital properties.

  • Excellent communicator with prior experience managing multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Passionate for data-informed design and continuous improvement.
  • A cultural leader who can infuse design thinking and foster a culture of innovation throughout the company through workshops and collaboration with creative, product, content, and engineering.
  • Comfortable delivering high quality work in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • 5+ years experience in digital product design.
  • Expert knowledge of user experience, including sketching, wireframing, accessibility, designing for performance and managing concepts from iteration through development.
  • Proven experience designing for multiple platforms and experiences, including optimizing for mobile and accessibility standards.
  • Fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems.
  • Apply design methodologies to design strategies that map across our users’ journeys.
  • Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Abstract, Zeplin, or other relevant design tools.
  • Foundational understanding of SEO best practices.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Infrequent Traveler (<5% travel): The incumbent may be required to travel on a very limited basis. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.

SALARY RANGE: 

$85,000 - $100,000

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however, there may be occasions when the incumbent is required to work game nights/weekends/holidays.
