Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY 
Under the general supervision of the Chief Revenue Officer, the employee will oversee stadium marketing and lead revenue generation with internal and external sales teams. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
Revenue Support:
  • Manage the sales pages of the RBOC website and social media including but not limited to special events, tours, premium seating, and golf course.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts for Produced Events, Enterprise Events, Tours, Sponsorship, Premium Seating and Major Events.
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to help support all event sales and revenue teams to generate revenue for the stadium. 
  • Work with external revenue support teams in stadium sales and marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate the development of collateral, proposals, and sales materials. 
  • Collaborate with CRO in direct sales efforts. 
  • Identify funding sources and potential new revenue streams supported by market research.
  • Work with CRO and Event Sales Manager in marketing, planning and executing industry events and showcases both at the Rose Bowl Stadium and at off-site sales events.
Event Support:
  • Meet with and coordinate with internal project team to provide support and troubleshooting before, during and after events. 
  • Manage RBOC social media and photography on event day
  • Work with the Director of Communications on media events 
  • Coordinate post event follow-up with media contacts and influencers
Administration:
  • Monitor expenditures and trade agreements 
  • Work with Production Manager, COO, CEO, and CRO on special projects
  • Work with CRO on managing Marketing Department Budget

Education and experience: 
  • Bachelor of Arts degree 
  • Three to five years’ experience in strategic marketing, hospitality, sports entertainment and/or sports venue sales 
Licenses and Certifications: 
  • Class C driver’s license and satisfactory driving record 
Material and equipment used: 
  • Computers

  • Cell phone/mobile data device 

Mental and physical abilities: (Working Conditions)

Very frequent – 20+ hours per week:
  • Work inside, speaking on the telephone, keyboarding, use of sight, hearing, speaking, eye-hand coordination, reading, writing
Frequent – 8 to 20 hours per week:
  • Occasional weekend work schedule, extended hours and/or overtime. Work outside, contact with the general public.
Occasional – up to 8 hours per week:
  • Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, pushing/pulling, climbing, bending, squatting, reaching, exposure to noise, temperature variation, poor ventilation, dust and clutter.

Pay Range: $67,844 - $105,158
The base pay range for this position may vary depending upon a number of factors including the individual candidates’ experience, qualifications, skills and competencies. This base pay is part of an overall package that is designed to compensate and recognize employees for their work and achievements. This position may be eligible for additional bonuses and commission incentives.
