The New York Jets are searching for an enthusiastic and dynamic candidate to join the Jets Marketing Department. This individual will assist in daily marketing, promotion, and fan engagement efforts for the team, with a focus on Jets email and SMS/MMS marketing platforms. This role will be responsible for collaborating with key internal stakeholders to reach departmental and organizational objectives, ensuring KPI’s are achieved on each platform. 
 
Position Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute all email and SMS/MMS campaigns including ticket sales, season ticket holder communications, events, original and shoulder programming, e-commerce, and partner platforms.
  • Manage and optimize the design, content, customer segmentation and messaging strategies for email and SMS/MMS, prioritizing revenue and audience growth. 
  • Assist in management of annual program budgets for email and SMS/MMS.  
  • Drive ongoing fan participation across Jets platforms by creating unique opportunities, exclusive experiences, and optimal promotional opportunities. 
  • Provide support for implementation of Jets marketing campaigns including drafting copy, trafficking assets, and managing partner deliverables.   
  • Collaborate with Jets Analytics Department to utilize and optimize first-party data opportunities. 
  • Ideate and execute ideas for fan retention and audience development to support organizational revenue goals through ticket sales and sponsorships. 
 
Qualifications & Competencies 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 2+ years of Marketing experience with a team, League, agency, brand, college or other related field
  • Understanding of email & SMS marketing, advertising, and promotion
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to balance strategy and operations 
  • Well-versed in current market trends with an ability to implement into Jets initiatives
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, organizational, and time management skills
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Creativity, flexibility, adaptability
  • Familiarity with sports/entertainment landscape
