Primary Objective: 
Responsible for developing and implementing digital communications and advertising content for a variety of media platforms, in coordination with the Director, Digital Marketing & Social Media in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, increase sales and meet business objectives.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Project manage digital ad development and deliverables
  • Traffic all paid digital assets, including messaging, video, graphics and audio 
  • Schedule and manage club e-mails including, e-newsletters, ticket guides and sponsor messages
  • Work with Major League Baseball and internal stakeholders on development and updates of Mariners.com landing pages; manage and edit pages using Forge
  • Assist with creative vision for advertising campaigns as well as emails, paid social posts, web and app creative; work with productions/creative team to build out assets
  • Write copy for emails, web pages, paid social, texts and other advertising campaigns
  • Manage the club’s Ballpark app, including layout, content, AR/VR features and check-in offers 
  • Plan and execute Mariners text campaigns
  • Manage push notifications through the Ballpark app and Mariners.com
  • Assist in developing strategy for digital advertising efforts including emails, paid social, banner ads, web/app push notifications and text campaigns
  • Coordinate internal digital club communications, including e-mail signatures 
  • Work with Analytics team on reporting for digital advertising and social efforts
  • Assist in content creation and publishing on Mariners social media accounts 
  • Will perform other duties as assigned

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in sales, marketing or customer service preferably in professional sports or entertainment
  • Marketing background, with experience and understanding of digital advertising, paid social campaigns and email marketing preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organization skills and capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. (Computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone, performing clerical functions)
  • Accessing office and work areas.
  • Must be able to access assigned locations in T-Mobile Park including navigating concrete stairwells, ramps and concourses.
  • Must be able to move up to 10 lbs.

 The base compensation for this role is $65,000 annually.
