Location: Atlanta or Domestic US. We are flexible on primary location, however, you may be asked to spend time at our Atlanta Office, and travel for meetings, installations, operations and events, as necessary.

The team is led by our Commercial Director (US) and in short, is responsible for introducing and implementing our technology with domestic sports organizations and leagues throughout the region. It's a team of people who have a passion for sport and get excited about driving forward the use of technology in the sports that we all love.

» What The Job Is All About

You are going to play an integral part in the strategic growth of Hawk-Eye Innovations in the North American region. The key things that you will be responsible for are the health and success of our existing client relationships, finding opportunities for growth and expansion, and ultimately ensuring that Hawk-Eye remains a best-in-class partner for the NFL, NHL and its representatives.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of replay and tracking technology in the NFL & NHL. As an Account Manager, you will be expected to be a primary driver of collaboration with our Sales, Project, Product and Operations departments to ensure a successful delivery of our replay and tracking solutions with the NFL, NHL.

Externally, you'll consistently represent Hawk-Eye and working closely with representatives with the NFL & NHL league offices, as well as NFL, NHL team front offices and representatives, as we work alongside our clients to help them to solve unique challenges and to make their sports safer, fairer and more engaging.

» A day in the life

Your day-to-day life in this role will be varied, as you manage a range of projects and clients at different stages in their lifecycle.

You'll become an expert in all things Hawk-Eye, keeping up to date with current technology and operational developments and maintaining relationships throughout the business. You'll also need to maintain networks and relationships throughout the sporting landscape and will be expected to participate in industry events.

Using this knowledge, you will identify opportunities within the US region where existing Hawk-Eye solutions can be developed to meet the needs of current or prospective clients; in addition to determining where possible opportunities may lie.

Once introduced into a new or existing client relationship, you will help lead the planning, execution and follow through of the core deliverables within the contracts.

It will incorporate the need to drive internal and external proposals to further strengthen our products, processes, and relationships. You'll help drive client education, operational procedures, documenting product feedback, and all aspects of data accuracy/delivery. You'll also work with our Commercial Director and Sales Team in pursuing new opportunities, as needed.

The ideal Account Manager will establish, maintain and grow client relationships, with the ultimate goal of delivering long term, sustainable business. And of course, you'll need to stay up to date with all of the tech and operational developments within Hawk-Eye.

Essential

Your Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Account Management or Sales experience in successful branded company;
  • Experience within the Sports industry and technology; ideally in the sport of football and/or hockey;
  • Experience of working across a global business within a multicultural working environment;
  • Business acumen and great analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication and the ability to build credibility amongst existing and future clients;
  • Attention to detail and creativity when building engaging collateral and sales responses;
  • Proactive, organized, efficient with time, diligent, able to prioritize and be self-sufficient;

Desirable

  • University Degree or equivalent;
  • Experience within the Sports Tech industry;
  • Playing or work experience in collegiate or professional football or hockey;
  • Understanding of the business and use of sports technology across major US/Global sports;
  • Experience of working across a global business within a multicultural working environment;
  • Exposure to working with optical tracking technology;
