Summary

The New York Liberty are continuing to build an organization that is passionate about redefining women’s sports while furthering the growth of the league and franchise. The Manager, Partnership Marketing will manage and grow a portfolio of partner accounts. The ideal candidate is passionate about women’s sports and cares about the details and perfecting their craft. This candidate is also is a sponge when it comes to learning more about activation best practices and their partners’ business and brand marketing efforts. This position reports directly to the New York Liberty’s Head of Strategy & Partnership Marketing.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for the management, maintenance, renewal, and growth of partner accounts which includes the implementation of partnership assets, the creation and activation of promotions, oversight of hospitality packages, community programs, media, signage and more.
  • Develop and implement new and creative marketing and activation strategies.
  • Develop, improve and renew partner relationships by exceeding expectations of all contractual deliverables, and identifying and executing against opportunities to drive incremental value.
  • Present ideas and opportunities to help grow the business of each partner by keeping current with goals, objectives and the competitive corporate landscape in the market, regionally, nationally, globally.
  • Partner with other departments on sponsored programs which include, but are not limited to marketing, community relations, ticketing, game presentation, etc.
  • Attend all New York Liberty home games and other select team events to host sponsors and lead the execution of in-arena promotions.
  • Stay up to date with market trends and provide recommendations to department and applicable clients to ensure the New York Liberty are striving for continued success and maintaining a forward-thinking perspective.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • 2-4 years of partnership account management required. Sports industry experience preferred.
  • Proven record of hitting goals/budgets.
  • Knowledge of sponsorship measurement tools and processes.
  • Must have advanced skills with utilizing Microsoft suite; proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) highly preferred.

 

SALARY RANGE

$62,000 - $75,000
