About the Role:

Skillz is seeking a process-oriented mobile gaming Product Marketing Manager with a Performance Marketing mindset to power our User Acquisition efforts across all digital channels and User Acquisition campaigns.  The Product Marketing Manager will be the main interface between the User Acquisition team, Creative Development, and Game Developer teams to ensure our creative, content, and game portfolio strategy is executed to the highest level.

The Product Marketing Manager will level-up to become the game subject matter expert within the User Acquisition function owning our feature and messaging frameworks for each game we advertise. The Product Marketing Manager will document and present performance of our game campaigns back to stakeholders with actionable strategic recommendations for iterative improvement in campaigns and processes.  You will play a key role in growing Skillz User Acquisition portfolio.

  • Reside in the Bay Area or Las Vegas, or comfortable with relocation.

  • Value in-person collaboration in an office environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own the User Acquisition Creative Delivery & Testing Roadmap, including prioritization of creative delivery across the portfolio.

  • Own all User Acquisition messaging frameworks, segmentation planning, briefing and User Acquisition creative documentation for channel specifications.

  • Own Creative Competitor Analysis within our User Acquisition function. Source and update all relevant network benchmarks for creative.

  • Build and share creative review and analysis. Present findings and hypotheses for creative tests to cross-functional groups.

  • Run monthly keyword ranking analysis for each game in the portfolio. Share recommendations with our developers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in media buying, user acquisition or marketing project management.

  • Driven ROI growth through Creative Optimization and Content with a framework for measuring creative and content effectiveness.

  • Intuitive understanding of funnel conversion metrics, retention rates and customer lifetime value.

  • Experience running direct-to-consumer mobile app User Acquisition campaigns.

  • Proficiency with Excel and Tableau required, to analyze data and performance and present new views for analysis.

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and prioritize roadmaps with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience of running user acquisition campaigns, A/B testing roadmaps and App Store Optimization.
