The Tennessee Titans are looking for a data-driven, detailed oriented and agile Manager of Paid Media who will be responsible for the strategy and execution of paid media campaigns across the organization. The Manager of Paid Media will be expected to develop advanced media buying campaigns with targeted audience segments as well as manage the execution and optimization of said campaigns across a variety of advertising channels.

This is an exciting time for the Titans as we embark on the task of building, marketing, and selling a new stadium. The Manager of Paid Media will report to the Director of Media Strategy and will work closely with the Ticket Sales, Season Ticket Memberships, Premium Sales & Service, Stadium Operations, Marketing and Strategy and Analytics teams to develop and execute data-driven campaigns to ensure a positive impact in generating revenue, retention, and fan engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop paid media strategies for the Tennessee Titans, Nissan Stadium and the New Nissan Stadium across digital and traditional channels including but not limited to multi-channel media buys across paid social, programmatic, display, paid search, television, streaming platforms, radio, out of home, newspapers, and local publications. This includes the management of an annual advertising budget and developing multi-channel campaigns that measure against KPIs and ROAS.
  • Plan, develop, execute, and monitor paid social campaigns based on audience segmentation and tactics to achieve revenue, lead generation and brand growth.
  • Responsible for generating reports and analyzing behavioral data from multiple platforms and data sources to support decision making in marketing strategy and media buying.
  • Manage a calendar of new and recurring advertising campaigns including specific initiative-based campaigns around tentpole events.
  • Develop advertising copy for various marketing materials & collateral including radio spots, tv commercials, and digital/print advertising that alights with the team branding and is specific to target audiences.
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Sponsorship, Creative, Ticket Sales and Service teams to coordinate sales efforts.
  • Provide analysis on all current and future marketing and sales campaigns, including spend optimization, effectiveness analysis, and the identification of major behavioral drivers for customers.
  • Identify and implement testing methodologies on paid media elements to improve conversation rates and optimize campaign results.
  • Monitor key trends across marketing and digital outlets and provide strategic insights based on those findings.
  • Assist in preparing pitches for the research and strategic planning projects.
  • Assist in preparing sales pitches for the marketing and sponsorship sales teams.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications, PR or equivalent degree/experience.
  • Detailed understanding of marketing, advertising and promotion development and strategy.
  • Experience with managing multiple campaigns and initiatives concurrently while optimizing advertising budgets.
  • 4+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge with Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn ad platforms.
  • Knowledge of conversion tracking and pixels.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Display Network, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics is preferred.
  • Self-starter and strategic thinker with superior verbal, written, presentation, organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to adapt messaging to suite multiple audiences from highly technical functions to non-technical marketing and front office executives.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable working on a small team in a fast-paced competitive environment.
  • Strong work ethic and outstanding attention to detail.
  • A proven track record in developing relationships with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to independently manage multiple projects, vendors, and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
