POSITION OVERVIEW: 
The Director, Digital Marketing for TGL  Boston will oversee the day-to-day social and digital media and marketing initiatives for Fenway Sports Management’s Boston-centric team in TGL, an innovative golf league in partnership with the PGA TOUR fusing advanced tech and live action in primetime. This individual will collaborate closely with internal and external partners in the field of marketing, social and digital media, broadcasting and creative, with a particular emphasis on growing brand awareness around the TGL Boston team property.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build a marketing and digital strategy to help drive brand growth, partner recognition, and revenue generation, including but not limited to organic social, paid digital, and grassroots marketing efforts
    • Coordinate with external and internal partners (i.e., creative, communications, business analytics) to maximize property’s marketing and communications reach – through endeavors such as marketing campaigns, creative concepts, content calendars, and marketing collateral needs​
    • Execute and maintain coverage on various social and digital channels, including property website as well as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube and TikTok for match support and long-term campaigns
    • Measure and track all digital marketing initiatives to ensure that strategy and campaigns are operating efficiently – and, if necessary, optimize accordingly to achieve campaign objectives  

CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Bachelor’s Degree (degree in marketing or related field preferred)
      • 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing specifically with paid, organic and social media campaigns including knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube platforms
      • Experience with digital advertising and social analytics tools to effectively measure campaign success to create associated reports
      • Excellent written communication skills
      • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate across marketing, creative, business and analytics teams
      • Self-motivated team player that can focus on individual and team goals
      • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
      • Innovative and well-organized with a strong work ethic and a desire/willingness to learn
      • Experience working for a professional sports team, consumer product brand or a marketing agency preferred
      • Ability to travel locally, work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
