SUMMARY

BSE Global is looking for a Director/Senior Director, Partnership Marketing that will support, lead and develop an account management team. The ideal candidate strives for excellence, is an engaged manager, a true collaborator, and business savvy. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Partnership Marketing.    

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage an account team and its oversight of Barclays Center and Brooklyn Nets partners providing leadership, support, and development to direct reports.
  • Ultimately responsible for teams’ successful delivery of contracted assets, with a demonstrated ability to thoroughly understand partners’ business to deliver ROI, even as objectives evolve over the life of the partnership.
  • Act as senior point of contact/escalation for select high level partners.
  • Actively engage in the renewal of sponsorship agreements, including measurement and recap reporting.
  • Continually strengthen sales acumen among team members, identifying opportunities to grow partnerships through upsells.
  • Lead overall hygiene of department, ensuring planning and tracking documents are accurate and maintained at all times, in collaboration with several other departments.
  • Develop strong relationships with current partners, and their agency leads.
  • Partner with business solutions and partnership strategy teams to generate sponsor proposals, platforms, and deal sheets; works closely with legal on development of contracts; and with finance on all reporting and billing.
  • Liaise with other departments to develop process that will result in high quality execution and return for partner integration and activations.
  • Monitor latest trends and best practices to continually push our business forward.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • 6-8 years of partnership account management required. 
  • Sports industry experience preferred.  Agency experience a plus.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports, with track record of professional development.
  • Proven record of hitting revenue goals/budgets.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

 

Salary Range

$95,000 - $120,000

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
