Major Responsibilities:
•    Effectively facilitate agile scrum ceremonies across multiple scrum teams 
•    Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure the product backlog is continuously prioritized and maintained 
•    Collaborate with other agile team-of-teams Scrum Masters to ensure cross-functional iteration dependencies are satisfied and standard processes are being encouraged across the program 
•    Ensure proper acceptance criteria, definition of ready and done for requirements 
•    Facilitate internal and external communications (e.g., task coordination, progress, tracking/reporting, dependency management) 

 

Communication and Process/Operations:
•    Demonstrate clear, concise, effective verbal and written communications 
•    Lead the creation of project and product status updates for your teams based on a deep and continuously evolving understanding of the NBA's business and NextGen objectives 

 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
•    3-5 years of demonstrated ability in IT, Platform development and consumer-facing product experience 
•    Experience in PMO Leadership 
•    Project & Cross-Functional Leadership - possesses the skills, knowledge and aptitude to engage, influence, and direct all functions involved in the development of the assigned product. Able to lead in a matrix organization. 
•    Effective analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. 
•    Dealing with ambiguity: demonstrate ability to act in a changing environment. Effective change management skills.
•    Experience in Vendor Management; 3rd party integration partners to develop the roadmap of requirements that will mitigate issues in these transitions. 
•    Experience collaborating across teams to keep alignment on digital transformation efforts and assure collaboration and best practices. 
•    Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills 
•    Excellent relationship building skills 
•    Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out in any way possible 
•    Experience working with premium digital and sports subscription products/services using AVOD, TVOD or SVOD business model(s) a plus 
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to lead multiple sub-projects at once 
•    Expertise in modern project management tools (ADO, Jira, Miro, etc) and standard methodologies, such as Agile/CSM, lean, and planning tools  
•    Ability to track and report on team velocity and burn down, ensuring successful planning and delivery based on team capacity

 

Highly Qualified Applicants will have:
•    A passion for the WNBA or women’s sports!
•    Relevant experience within the software development industry 
•    Experience working with AVOD, TVOD and SVOD 
•    SAFe Scrum Master or Scrum Alliance Certifications
•    Atlassian Certifications
