Peyton Manning’s entertainment company, Omaha Productions, is seeking a contract Creative Researcher.

This role requires strong editorial judgment and writing ability, as well as a knowledge of sports and sports history. The Creative Researcher position must be a strong communicator, avid sports fan, and passionate media consumer. This role will provide information across different projects with varying deadlines.

Candidates of varying freelance availability will be considered for this contract role, though ideal candidates will have consistent availability. This position may evolve to a staff position.

Omaha Productions has embraced a "live and work anywhere" policy, and this position is fully remote.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, compile and circulate information about sports and athletes to prep for interview segments and live production support needs
  • Work alongside the creative development team to do deeper dives on individual characters and potential storylines to build out concepts
  • Utilize editorial judgment to find the interesting angles and fresh positioning to maximize creative potential in projects.
  • Create thorough, well-researched insight briefs ahead of new client, strategic, or business brainstorms
  • Use sound editorial judgment and clear efficient writing ability
  • Quality check content for consistency and check any errors

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years previous relevant work experience
  • Candidates should be versatile, self-motivated, energetic and able to work well both independently and as part of a group.

  • Ability to organize and schedule work effectively
