Content Platforms is part of the Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology (DEET) segment which is responsible
for The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including the ESPN+ sports streaming

Job Summary:
The Content Platforms Engineering team is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer that will drive the design and
implementation of solutions in the digital media supply chain with a team of software engineers and help solve
complex problems within the realm of media transformation, quality control, and video processing.
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be expected to develop backend and full-stack solutions in a dynamic, rapidly
changing environment using your technical skill sets, working with product managers and team leads to deliver high
quality products that are scalable and robust. You will be expected to work closely on solutions with peers in a cross-
functional environment to ensure we are delivering high quality products that align to the larger business initiatives
within the digital media supply chain that support Disney’s TV, broadcast, theatrical, and direct–to-consumer lines of business. This role will support digital file deliveries to Disney+ using custom developed software which integrates with file transfer technology such as Aspera, Signiant and S3.

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $136,100.00 - $182,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
