WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Our Consulting group is seeking a Senior Coordinator to join our team dedicated to servicing the needs of our longstanding Fortune 100 telecommunications client. Focusing on events surrounding sport sponsorships – specifically motorsports, NFL and NHL – this is an amazing opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, can juggle multiple projects at once, has strong communication and organization skills, and who wants to work collaboratively in a strong team environment. You’ll work closely with the team’s
Customer Engagement Director, Customer Engagement Manager and more.


Overview of Responsibilities:
• Manage B2B sponsorship events targeting director-level customers start to finish
• Create project timelines and staffing plans for all assigned events
• Manage the planning, purchasing, fulfillment and warehousing processes for all assigned events
• Copywrite and design event registration websites, customer communications, client presentations and reports – ensuring brand compliance in all aspects
• On-site presence at all assigned events; play a supporting role on-site during other team-hosted events
• Ideate and research corporate event trends to bring new ideas to the table (entertainment opportunities, gifting, branding and décor, etc.)
• Cultivate strong vendor relationships
• Participate in all team meetings ensuring adequate note-taking to drive next steps
• Proactively seek insights and innovations from inside and outside the global sport and entertainment industry to keep CSM staff and clients abreast with news and the implications therein
• Assist in the development of slides, perspectives, competitive research and strategic points of view for CSM clients
• Other duties as assigned

 

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

•2-4 years of experience in an agency environment and/or in the events or meeting planning industry; Certified Meeting Professional certification preferred
• Indianapolis-based candidates preferred
• A passion for B2B events, meeting planning, sports sponsorship, entertainment and technology
• Strong organizational time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience with Cvent event management software
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Passionate, curious, proactive and creative
• Self-starter – willing to try new things and identify work ahead
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines
• Comfortable in an external, client-facing role
• Willingness to travel when applicable – including nights and weekends
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
