We are seeking a Manager, Digital Fan Engagement (Digital Strategy team), providing campaign creation, engagement strategy, and digital fan experience activation, including live experience activation for organic brand and partner activation, mobile app second-screen experience, loyalty, interactivity, and gamification, deepening fan engagement and loyalty by providing end-to-end digital fan experience supporting our ever-evolving digital fan journey.

What Will You Do:

  • Fan Engagement

    • Assist with the creation of the overarching digital marketing strategy across organic brand and partner assets.
    • Create campaign objectives, budgets, audience segments, and fan engagement strategies for key brand campaigns and tentpole marketing initiatives.
    • Work cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Creative, Content, Lifecycle Marketing, and Social, to ensure digital marketing plans are holistic and cohesive across all mediums.
    • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to develop engaging ways to integrate our brands with partner brands, helping our partners create meaningful connections with our fans.
    • Lead campaign planning and project execution of digital marketing plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive to completion.
    • Work with Business Intelligence and Lifecycle Marketing to create and identify fan segments and profiles, delivering targeted and personalized campaigns to relevant fan audiences.
    • Coordinate and align the efforts of the full Digital Experience team, including Digital Development, Lifecycle Marketing, and Social Strategy to drive overarching goals of the marketing department and organization.
    • Provide campaign insights and summaries of the effectiveness of digital campaigns.

     

  • Digital Strategy
    • Work closely with Lifecycle Marketing to develop data-driven, full-funnel campaign strategies across the full digital fan journey, including support of digital membership, DTC streaming platforms, and ticket sales conversion.
    • Develop campaigns using testing, segmentation, creative, and content strategy to optimize for sales conversions and audience retention.
    • Oversee key engagement campaigns and projects including contesting, second-screen experiences, interactive quizzes, and other promotions.
    • Manage relationships with external partners to strategize, ideate, and incorporate new activation strategies within our core platforms.
    • Research latest trends and best practices in digital engagement to ensure brand assets are optimized for consumption, click-through, and conversion.

 

  • Mobile
    • Work closely with the Sr. Manager, Digital Strategy on app marketing strategies, prioritizing downloads, adoption, engagement, session length & depth, retention rate, etc. 
    • Pull and maintain proper audience segmentation lists for app experience targeting.
    • Support the mobile app strategy roadmap, including features and enhancements, and third-party integrations, ensuring our overarching mobile strategy goals are achieved.
    • Create app campaigns and strategic initiatives that support driving app reviews, location-based marketing, gamification & interactivity, mobile content experiences, etc.
    • Collaborate with the partnerships on partner activation ideas, and activation of sellable digital inventory.

What We Need From Our Manager, Digital Fan Engagement:

  • Deep understanding of the digital landscape, including analytics, digital commerce, data-driven experiences, mobile, and technology platforms
  • A solutions-oriented mindset, showcasing an ability to think, evaluate, analyze, and make quick, effective decisions.
  • A curious, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset, focused on understanding the consumer (behaviors, needs, journey, micro moments) and driving coherent consumer experience roadmaps.
  • Be creative and proactive, optimizing strategies based on consumer engagement performance, identifying and scaling activation best practices.
  • Great written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding and development of integrated marketing communications across omni-channel communication touchpoints
  • Experience with CRM and data-analytics in direct-to-consumer marketing activations
  • Customer Data Platform (CDP) familiarity/experience highly preferred
Experience/ Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience preferably in a B2C capacity, for a consumer brand, integrated marketing agency, or media company
  • Experience developing digital strategy and marketing activations, integrated marketing, communications strategies, and/or data-driven experiences.
  • Deep experience with campaign coordination, integrating digital strategy into broader brand marketing campaigns, including content series, events, and promotions.
  • Proven track record of implementing new concepts and ideas.
  • Fundamental understanding of the project management process, as well as the ability to establish rapport and navigate projects across-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communications and marketing experience demonstrating over-delivery of best-in-class integrated digital experiences.
  • A culture change mindset, inspiring and infusing design thinking into how we work, build ideas, and innovate.
