We are looking for a talented individual who understands sports marketing, social content, and sponsorships to join our team. The Digital Partnership Coordinator is responsible for assisting our Corporate Partnerships team in sales and activation for digital content assets on social media, websites, email, and mobile apps for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. Our digital group works across the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Indiana Mad Ants (G League), Gainbridge Fieldhouse events, and more.

This role is accountable day-to-day for project management and partner coordination for contracted digital elements. This individual should also be able to help with ideation and digital package assembly for prospective partners. An ideal candidate is detail-orientated while also creatively minded. The balance of art and science is critical for this role to construct new ideas and improve process efficiency. In this role, taking high ownership of your work and being able to influence others you collaborate with is vital to success. This position will be well-supported by a creative team composed of video producers, graphic designers, photographers, and digital marketers. This position sits within the digital marketing department of our organization but is highly collaborative cross-functionally with other departments such as partnerships, ticketing, community engagement, public relations, and game operations.

We are looking for someone who is excited to bring our sponsors’ brands to life with the power of basketball. This person should be a self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and thrive in a team environment. This position will be required to work a schedule that includes events on evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Event work will include sponsored community events, Gainbridge Fieldhouse events, community activations and Pacers and Fever home games.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
  • Project management and partner coordination for contracted digital elements.
    • Develop and update project plans and timelines
    • Monitor project milestones and deliverables
  • Ideate and create packages for prospective corporate partners.
  • Propose digital partner project plans to internal stakeholders.
  • Meaningful contributor to sales team on digital marketing topics including best practices, industry trends, resources to assist with pre-sales call information gathering, and uncovering partner marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze various digital marketing campaign metrics, and to share key learnings with internal and external partners on a consistent basis. Showcase value and ROI for partners.
  • Track, report, and analyze social media KPIs, engagement rates, open rates, click-throughs, A/B testing results, total revenue, subscribers, and other social media metrics as it relates to partner content.
  • Review and edit content with high attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Elevate past ideas and pivot to new concepts with an attitude of innovation.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Four-year college degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or other relevant fields. Two years professional experience in marketing or sales. Experience in the sports/event industry is preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports. Strong writing ability with the use of proper grammar and punctuation with a high attention to detail and minimal error rate. Ability to write reports and correspondence with extremely high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, Clients, Partners, and the public. Ability to communicate and sell ideas to peers and executives. Ability to create and deliver presentations to all levels of employees and upper management.

RELATIONSHIP SKILLS:

Excellent relationship-building, people, and communication skills with an ability to develop strong and trustworthy relationships across multiple internal and external teams.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to apply mathematical operations to develop ROI analyses and present reports. Strong ability to calculate CPM (cost per thousand), CPE (cost per engagement), and CPV (cost per video view) analysis for partner pitches.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able, through creative, logical, and technical means, to see projects through to completion.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

This position requires the employee to understand knowledge of social media sites, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other emerging channels. This position must have familiarity building pitch decks and working on spreadsheets.
