MARKETING MANAGER - NHRA TRACKS
 LOCATION:                     BASED IN INDIANAPOLIS, IN – IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE REQUIRED; NOT REMOTE, NOT HYBRID
 REPORTS TO:                 VICE PRESIDENT, TRACK MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS
 
THE JOB:
 The Marketing Manager works alongside the NHRA-owned facilities (Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, Gainesville Raceway, and In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip) Marketing and Operations staff.  Between the three NHRA-owned facilities, we host over 250 days of track activity.  The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of marketing materials to include sales, digital, and promotional materials.  Responsible for digital platforms including social media posts and NHRA-owned track websites.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·       Lead the conception and development of sales materials including sales presentations, media kits, case studies, recap decks, sponsorship trackers.
·       Lead in the creative development for digital (web, email, social) and traditional (television, radio, print) communication channels along with event logos and branding. 
·       Lead in design of promotional materials such as flyers and posters for select events at the venue. 
·       Content capture for future event marketing efforts.
·       Represent the NHRA and LOIRP at various networking events and participate in other sales and community events, as defined by the VP, Track Management & Operations.
·       Oversees the digital platforms (web, social, email marketing, etc.) for the three NHRA-owned properties.
·       Control social media efforts for all tracks, including paid and organic posts.
·       Manages the digital content development schedule, creation, and execution for each of the three NHRA-owned tracks.
·       Responsible for daily updating of each of the NHRA-owned track websites.
·       Charged with the tracking and reporting of digital analytics, relating to each of the track websites and social media platforms for the NHRA-owned tracks.
·       Develop social influencer database to help drive organic conversations.
·       Work in coordination with third-party promoters at each of the NHRA-owned facilities to develop a content schedule that promotes each of the various events at the NHRA-owned facilities.
·       Follows the latest digital and social trends and techniques, as it relates to the various digital platforms for the NHRA-owned facilities to update and stay on-track with the various digital adjustments that take place throughout the year.
·       Work with the VP, Track Management & Operations along with colleagues to develop the Annual Digital Marketing Budget, along with capital and staffing requisitions.
  • Maintains a high quality in all work including: accuracy and timeliness.
 
 MINIMUM SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
·       At least 4 years of post-high school education (college, technical school, vocational training) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years prior marketing experience is highly desirable.
·       Minimum of 1 year of previous digital marketing experience (web, database, social media) is highly preferred.
  • Strong design skills using Photoshop, logo design, and graphic design are strongly recommended.
  • A prior experience with writing press releases highly desired.
·       Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Social Media platforms, Adobe Photoshop. 
·       Must have strong attention to detail and organization skills.
·       Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbal with all levels of management. 
·       Must have good platform skills and be comfortable when speaking to groups of people. 
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
·       Able to work at a computer all day.
·       Able to sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs, lift up to 50lbs. 
·       Able to work a flexible schedule including long workdays, nights, weekends & holidays.
·       Able to work 10–12-hour days outdoors in extreme temperatures when needed at track race events.
